Cmert Keyz) not only introduced this act, but saw him eating into a tight space, but introducing a far unique brand to the world.
Born February 3rd 1996, in Kampala Uganda, Jesse M. Sekatawa, better known as Jesse10s, is a rapper, singer and record producer in Washington DC, whose music features a unique blend of genres; right from deep melody, groovy Edm, Afrobeats, to harmonious voice and inspirational lyrics.
Though he was initially on his way to become a pro soccer player, a unique turn in events saw him take on music in 2013, through which he gained more interest and started taking production classes from YouTube as he mastered his craft.
His early rise to the scene came off his late 2017 & early 2018 debut singles; your love, Never Let go (feat. Lulu k) and What a Feeling (feat. Cmert Keyz)”, which captured charts at numbers 60, 55 and 20 on the DMV top-60 Singles Chart respectively and hitting a record high 2,469,856 plays on SoundCloud and many more music streaming platforms.
He later went on to release his first ever studio album “Hope & Restoration” July 26th 2018 with hits like Born Again, Brokenness that debuted and enjoyed massive airplay on ; Trace Naija, Afro music pop and Sound city, This further earned him collaborations with top musical acts Exodus Ug, Levixone, Cmert Keyz and Akanji.
Off stage, Jesse is also known for his humanitarian work through the Sekatawa Foundation ; a non-profit program he started in May 2016 as a platform for the youth to spread good vibes and inspire lives of young adults through: music, soccer and performing arts.
