With each year, Rwanda escalates through tourism. The Kwita Izina, which is the country’s Gorilla Naming event is one of the annually anticipated events.
This year to cements a firmer grip to the country’s culture and tourism. Kinigi in Musanze district was the ground that hosted the 2019 Kwita Izina, an event organized by Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and Visit Rwanda.
With the event graced by President Paul Kagame, and other guests who included American R&B Star Neyo, Naomi Campbell, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation, Dame Louise Martin, Patricia Scotland, Amina J.Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary General, among other guests, the event was a success.
Performances at the event were from Rwanda’s Mashirika, King James, Riderman, Senderi among other Artists.
