It was all glitz and glamour, filled with musical vibes at last month’s Kigali Jazz Junction, an event which lightened up the Kigali Serena hotel, on the evening of March 31st 2017.
With each edition ushering in more, this too left souls yearning for more. Special that marked the event was the soulful performance right from the Neptunez band, which is the event’s core heart, which exhibited great eloquence in vocals and live instrument showcase.
The day’s guest musicians who included Patrick Nyamitari, a Rwandan Afro R&B vocalist and former Tusker Project Fame representative made a mega debut performance, which cemented his stand in the art.
Kenya’s Mayonde soulfully captured many through her stunning presentations; musically taking hold of her audience, yet blending here stage moves with Rwandan cultural dance too.
Too a full house, Nyamitari, and Mayonde performed, yet leaving behind highlights to ever reckon of in this cooperate filled event, which had gradually made a firm grip as far as showcasing real music talents is concerned- thanks to Mutzig Beer, the sponsors behind it.
