This year’s Kigali Jazz Junction was highlighted by a eventful start. Taking place on February 24th, the evening was ignited by Rwanda’s Neptunez band, which Jazzed up the lovers.

From Rwanda, vocalist Rosette was the guest feature, whose melodious performance bewildered many- through English, French and Lingala, she weaved her songs, which cemented her returns to stage after years.

Being the main guest act, Christine Kamau‘s Saxophone abilities left many in desire for more. The talented instrumentalist, who is also perfect at vocals was backed by Rwanda’s Neptunez band, who summed up the perfect evening through performance of various song covers by legendary Jazz acts on top of those off her original album too.
