From Uganda, Comedian Collins Bareija – who by comedy fanatics is known as Emeka is the distinguished act to be featured at the open up this year’s Com Factory, a weekly Stand Up Comedy show which entertains comedy lovers throughout Kigali.
Ugandan Comedian Emeka
Returning for his second time to Kigali, Emeka, who is one of Uganda’s finest rising Stand Up Comedy acts first performed at The Comedy Jam, an event which took place in 2015 at Kigali’s Serena hotel, where he impressed Kigalians.
“I feel so great that I’ve got to be called back- which shows that the first time I impressed. It’s a great feeling to be back to Rwanda performing, it’s my second home,” Emeka Stated.
The comedian, who has before shared stages with most of Uganda’s finest comedians is famous for his Nigerian accent, which he blends well with local society.
Making a comeback this year, Com Factory‘s first show is to place on February 2nd, at Galaxy Hotel.

Hosted by Babu, who is the event’s founder, show is to also feature Comedians acts like Herve Kimenyi, Nkusi Arthur, Michael Sengazi, Birungi George from the Comedy Knights, Rwanda’s stand up comedy group and surprise guest comedians from with in the region.
