Bold Kigali brings together unique, assorted outfits by outstanding designers from all over Africa. Rooting from Kampala, Uganda since June 1st 2012, from Bold Kampala, it is an award-winning retail network, founded by three devoted women entrepreneurs, that houses over thirty rising designers from countries across the African continent including Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Nigeria, Ghana, Tunisia and South Africa.

“This being our second fashion store and platform, we are so glad. The public now has a chance to access African authentic designs from over 35 designers, right from either Kigali, or Kampala. This is to ease accessibility,” explains Nunu Mugyenyi, Bold Africa, Co-founder and Director.
With a major aim of promoting and cherishing African made outfits, Bold Kigali will see fashions lovers easily accessing high quality designs, hence tasting more of what African fashion holds.
“It’s not only about fashion, but job creation too in support of both of our countries Rwanda and Uganda, through such collaborative platforms,” explains Sonia Mugabo, a Rwandan designer, and a co- founder of Collective Rwanda, a collaborative fashion project.
“To most emerging designers, it’s really a struggle finding market for produces. What is important is the professionalism in setting and selling designs, yet for most visitors coming to Rwanda didn’t have a one stop spot where to purchase a variety of local and African products,” explains Mathew Rugamba, a Rwandan designer.
Bold Kigali is open from Monday till Saturday, from 9:00 am till 9pm, and Sunday from 10am till 7pm, while Bold Kampala, located at Acacia Mall Kampala, is open from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00am till 9pm, and Sunday from 10am till 7pm
