Rarely has the local Rwandan scene ushered in Afro Dancehall and Pop songs till recently. With the club life initially being dominated by foreign songs, lately Rwanda is eating into this space too.
Kikankane is another fresh jam rocking musical charts back in Rwanda, while it is lately capturing itself a spot onto Radio Airwaves in Kenya,Burundi and Uganda too. The song introducing a club-party mood is Dancehall vibe by Dj Pyfo featuring Rapper Kivumbi King.
Produced by Hubbie of Hi5 Entertainment, this song is a great bridge summing up 2024 while tapping into 2025 in style. With Kivumbi on it, the lyrical touch, entwined with poetic verses are a spice, while Hubbie really proved himself on this. This is a banger worth a listen, and a far greater recommendation for any party.
