With the event taking place from May 2- 5 at Dinners Lounge in Kampala, was hosted by Bayimba , and it attracted artistes, curators and audiences from various countries and through workshops, exhibitions and live music, it prevailed.

Two musicians Angell Mutoni and Mucyo are spearheading the ‘Girls in Music tour” by “Eclectic Nappy Heads Collective”, a project which was successfully selected by the jury, following the Call for Projects recently, by the Goethe-Institut Kigali.

Supported by the Goethe Institut Kigali, the project represented by Angel Mutoni, a Rapper and Poet and Mucyo, an Afro Soul Artist, who are the creative minds behind Eclectic Nappy Heads Collective, an All-girls initiative fronting and nurturing artistic performances.

“Girls in Music” focuses on women and girls empowerment through activities like song writing, focusing on climate-change awareness. Their workshops will take place at the Green Hills Academy.
