Rwanda’s renowned Artistic Director Hope Azeda spreads on through her Artistic journey, with her current being within the East Africa’s Got Talent, where she is one of the few behind the curtains.
As a Staging Director for this show, Azeda is closely working with the event’s organising committee in the live production of this talent search event, which is now nearing its final stages.
First time working on live TV shows. Am Blessed with an amazing team of amazing technicians from South Africa and Kenya, couldn’t ask for a better support team. But most importantly working and witnessing the aspect of growth in incredibly talented artists across the region is a big leap in my career’s growth

Azeda’s Artistic career spans over 30 years, from a theatre act, starring in prominent films to directing and production of various stage production at Mashirika Performance and Media Company, which she founded years ago, and had performed shows in Rwanda and across the world. The Award winning act is the founded of the Ubumuntu Arts Festival, one of the biggest annual theatre festivals in Rwanda and the region, dedicated to humanity.

EAGT is a new Television reality show, a franchise owned by Simon Cowell, produced by South Africa’s Rapid Blue Productions. Hosted by Anne Kansiime, while the Jury consists of Jeff Koinange, Vanessa Mdee, Makeda Mahadeo and Gaetano Kaggwa, the show has this year seen the incorporation of countries; Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania.
