Rwanda-
American Musician Alexander Star is expected to attend and perform at the 2019 Ubumuntu Arts Festival.
The musician who first graced Rwanda last year, where he performed at the same festival, and further teamed up on a song project with local artist Andy Bumuntu and students of Umubano Primary School with first perform live at the Ikaze Night, the festival’s opening event scheduled on July 12 in Kigali.
Based in South Florida,USA, the musician is famously known through songs This is My Era, Try Me Out Baby, Better than Ever, Change in The Air, Our Women, and has since way back used music as a tool for global advocacy for empowering of the younger generation. The Ubumuntu Arts Festival, which is on its fifth edition, will take place from July 12 to 14 at the Kigali Amphitheatre.
