Besides its theater stages, Mashirika Performance and Media Company has been working onto a mega film project. The project which kicked off with auditions in April this year is one which was recently concluded.
Dubbed Notre-Dame du Nil (Our lady of the Nile, the film stars over 20 Rwandan girls, from which 9, were selected for the lead roles in the film. Notre-Dame du Nil is expected to premiere at the 2019 Cannes film festival .
