From Ivory Coast, African Reggae biggest Star Alpha Blondy is headlining this year’s Kigali Up Music Festival. The annual event kicking off on July 26 in Kigali will see the star entertaining his loyal fans.

“I apologize for not turning up last year, due to my tight program, but I promise you the best deliverance this time,” he adds.
The festival is to feature musicians Kenny Wesley(U SA), Annet Nandujja(Uganda), Andy Bumuntu(Rwanda), Lulu(Malawi), Alyn Sano(Rwanda),The Active (Rwanda) among others.

Since 1983, the legend with a career spanning over 35 years, has released 17 albums with countless global smash hits and toured all over the world more often than the last 5 US presidents put together.
“This year is a more Artistic festival, which is to please even the fans too,” explains Mighty Popo the festival’s founder.
