Synopsis
Staring Award-wining Vijaay, Lima Kallingal, Partiban and Uganda’s Michael Wawuyo, Joseph Mayanja, Sam Bagenda, Wilberforce Mutete among others is a highly anticipated film entirely shot and produced in Uganda.
The film, being one of the most remarkable rehabilitation stories to have come out of the Luzira Women’s Prison is that of Susan Kigula, an inmate who enrolled for a Diploma in Law via correspondence thanks to the African Prisons Project and is now pursuing a Law degree upon release.

Prison-less about incarceration and more about corrective programmes to reintegrate former inmates back into society, support these efforts by attending the benefit screening of Luzira – Escape From Uganda.
