Rwanda-
Rwanda is musically to honor the late Lucky Dube, whose music acts still inspire millions around the world. Taking place on October 21 at Kigali”s Root House, will be a reggae celebration in commemoration of the South African icon.
As guest performers from Burundi Adjobalove & Jah Image Band are slated to take the audience into a reggae rendition composition.
The band is popularly known through its politically conscious tracks such as Igihekizobabwira and Fata umwanya.
Having tasted it all, Adjobalove went in the US where he pursued activism and love of musical performances in various venues and festivals. His recent return to great lake region, the artist is ready for showcase.
Musician Lucky Dube
Adjobalove brings on stage friends to beef up the experience as we celebrate the music and legacy of the late great Lucky Dube. Also to perform will be 2T, Natty Dread and other Rwandan musicians.
The Multi Award Winner Lucky Dube died October 2007, yet his music legacy and his contribution in popularizing African reggae to the world is only equated by the likes of Alpha Blondy.
