Close to two years since halting its normal programming, Kigali’s K.Fm Radio station returns, with a promising move. ArtsGlo has learnt of the new voices the public is to switch daily.
Stand Up comedian John Muyenzi alias Babu is widely known for crafting his name through stages with the Comedy Knights, an established Rwandan Comedy group. The Comedian who also is behind Com Factory, a weekly live stand up comedy event will be one of the voices to wake the city up.
Though not for long, he has been onto the both the Radio and Television scenes. Right from Yego Tv, then partly with KFM(recall the K-Teens Jam?). A producer, and creative lad. Klutch is also part of the CNBC Africa Rwanda team, where he serves as contributor and producer. He is back for on the radio airwaves, teaming up with Babu and Sherry in the morning.
Less known through the public eye, Uwase is a spanning creative, a musician and a voice coach whose has in recent years gathered vast experience from Nairobi, Kenya. She is also on the jury for I’m the Future, an ongoing Rwandan Talent Search event. She is the next female voice on the station’s morning show.
Afro Pop musician Aisha Uwimana alias Ciney is to present on the Big Bumper, the radio’s evening show, with Stephane Rwabugiri. Before, Ciney’s Radio career spans since way back at Radio One(2012) and at City Radio, which she left in 2014.
Formally a presenter at Kigali’s Royal FM, Stephane Rwabugiri is one of the youngest articulate talents to check out. Eloquent too at the Mic, together with Ciney, the two will be the evening show’s hosts.
