Kenya’s Award winning band Sauti Sol is currently in Kigali. This might come surprise news to their fans, but not to the group. From close sources, ArtsGlo has learnt that the group that flew into Rwanda on June 12, is onto some project together with Coke Studio Kenya, a music talent platform, which is taking the region by storm.
It isn’t yet clear what the team is into, but the project involves real recording and some video shooting sessions, together with the CocaCola Team. Special this year is that Rwanda also joined Coke Studio, when its musician Bruce Melodie made entry. The group has before graced Kigali stages through concerts including the Kigali Up Music Festival, Stromae’s Home Coming among others.
We hope more is to unveil.
