Latest coming into our desk is how Rwanda’s Afro-beat and dance hall group, the Urban Boys have finalized their latest song project with Uganda’s Spanning Dance-hall star Ykee Benda.
This project follows Ykee Benda’s visit Kigali visit, where he performed at the Nyama Choma Xtravaganza on March 4th. Confirmed from our sources is how the Urban Boys hit studios and recorded the song, which was produced by Nessim of Baddi Music.

ArtsGlo has also learnt of how Nizo, who is one of the Urban Boys members might not be in this project, due to his illness . With the song’s video also complete, we await the premier.
This project is another step to the Uraban Boys, who are also the 2016 Primus Guma Guma Super Star music competition winners, following a few cross-boarder projects with Uganda’s Radio&Weasel, Jackie Chandiru and Nigeria’s R&B star Iyanya.
Nessim is one of Uganda’s top producers, currently behind most of A-Pass and Ykee Benda‘s hits, while he has also produced for several Ugandan acts like Cindy Sanyu, Radio&Weasel, Bebe Cool among others, while in Rwanda, he is also behind songs Face to Face and Owooma , which have topped charts.
