For its second edition, the annual Christmas Cantata, the first of a kind Broadway Christian show in Kigali returns this year.
The Christmas Cantata
Organized by Christian Life Assembly (CLA) in Kigali, and taking place at CLA Nyarutarama main auditorium from December 21st to the 24th, from 5pm, this show, which is free of charge will feature live music, dance and drama.
Christmas Cantata is an hour and a half Broadway musical theatre production telling the story of Christmas through live stage acts, crafted by a production team of 200 people including actors, a professional orchestra, a choir, audio-visual engineers, costume and stage designers. To keep every year unique, the story of Christmas is told through different bible characters’ lenses.
Cantata is a seasonal live English child-friendly presentation for families to be together to witness the reason for the season and celebrate creativity.
Under the theme ‘This Child is God,’ the story of Christ is told through the lens of an old man in the bible.

With an attendance of over 5000 people last year’s four shows; this edition seeks a minimum of 8000 people to unwrap this year’s gift.
