Organisers of Kigali Jazz Junction have come out and highlighted how the core motive of the event isnt making money, but rather creating a hub of professional live music with class.
Mr. Lubega Remmygious, one of the administrators of RG Consult, the organisers of the event, explains that Kigali Jazz Junction looks out for talent that can give a add a vibe to the spirit of live performance, “There are are many Pop artists out there, who have hits and names, but we are not looking out for hits,” he explains.

Mr. Lubega explains that Kigali Jazz Junction is looking out for an outstanding experience worth sharing with the Jazz audience and Rwanda’s local musician.
This month’s edition, which took place on September 29th at Kigali Serena Hotel featured Nigerian female Afro-Pop and Beat musician Seyi Shay and Rwanda’s Charly and Nina as main stage acts. These performed alongside Neptunez Band and Mavuno Band.
A brainchild of Neptunez Band, Kigali Jazz Junction came to rise June 2015, emerging as a sole place where Jazz meets others fusions of music. The event further is gradually emerging as a spot were jazz lovers come together and listen to live jazz music and affiliated genres that make different compositions of Jazz music.
